Afua Nuamah Appea

Afua Nuamah Appea is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and strategy, currently serving as Director of US Mid Market Product and Strategy at Mastercard since July 2019. Prior roles at Mastercard include Product Manager for US Mid Market Strategy and Product, Product Manager for Commercial Payments, and Product Management for North America Prepaid. Afua is actively involved as a member of the NAWMBA National Association of Women MBAs and the National Black MBA Association. Previous experience includes working at Silicon Valley Bank in roles such as Relationship Advisor II in Accelerator & Growth Tech Markets and in FX Operations - Middle Office from December 2013 to July 2017. Afua holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School Online and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Coast.
