Ben Markel

Ben Markel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development, customer relationship management, and marketing strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Mastercard, Ben leads the Merchant Offers Sourcing Center of Excellence. Previously, as the Director of Global Small Business Merchant Platforms & Loyalty at Mastercard, Ben developed and executed innovative loyalty programs. Prior roles include Director of CRM and Loyalty at Avis Budget Group, where Ben created integrated marketing strategies, and Head of Marketing Strategy at Affinion Group, leading a team that generated over $100 million in annual revenue. Ben's career began at Chase, where effective management of credit card acquisition strategies resulted in significant sales growth. Ben holds multiple degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology, including an MBA in Finance & Management, and a Certificate in Strategic Intuition from Columbia Business School.
