David Giles possesses extensive experience in finance and risk management, currently serving as Vice President of Risk Management and Global Accounting Operations at Mastercard since March 2013. Responsible for leading a team of 150 with an $11M annual budget, David achieved recognition as an annual CFO award winner in 2021 for excellence in operational projects. Prior experience includes managerial roles in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and reporting at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where achievements included leading international implementation projects and receiving the President’s Club award for exceptional support. David started his career with positions at Sara Lee Bakery Group and internships at bioMerieux and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. David holds an MBA and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
