Barry Gallison is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical quality, risk management, and nursing. Currently serving as Vice President of Clinical Quality and Risk Management at Broward Health since December 2012, Barry oversees critical departments including Quality Management, Patient Safety, and Risk Management, while managing regulatory data reporting. As a faculty member at The BirchTree Center for Healthcare Transformation, Barry facilitates adult learning and effective communication with nursing professionals. Previous roles include Past President of the American Holistic Nurses Association and Director of Nursing Quality at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where Barry developed comprehensive quality programs across multiple campuses. Barry's educational background includes a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Stony Brook University and advanced degrees from New York University and Hunter College.
