Mark Burges

Mark Burges is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in learning and development, particularly within the payments industry. Currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Mastercard Academy since May 2016, Mark leads the development and delivery of client training across 60 markets, encompassing a wide range of educational topics. Prior roles include Director at Mastercard, focusing on a global training program, and Learning and Development Director at The Payment Business School, where Mark provided consultancy and developed training on new payment technologies. Additional experience includes significant positions at Visa Europe, where Mark managed various education programs, and at Lloyds TSB, supporting HR initiatives and leading learning projects.
