Michael Weishaar

Michael Weishaar is a seasoned information security and quality assurance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Director of Information Security Engineering at Mastercard since June 2019, Michael focuses on security due diligence and integrating acquired companies. Previous roles at Mastercard include Director of Systems Platform Architecture, where oversight of a diverse team delivering infrastructure solutions was a key responsibility. Prior to Mastercard, Michael held development management positions at EPSi.io and Allscripts, overseeing QA teams for healthcare budgeting platforms. Experience also includes senior leadership in quality assurance at Citi and Bank of America, with a strong focus on risk management, project planning, and team management across multiple testing methodologies. Michael began a career in quality assurance and software engineering with positions at notable companies such as Vcommerce, McKesson, Open Port Technology, and Motorola. Michael earned a BS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
