Mohamed Abouelenin

Mohamed AbouElEnin is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product architecture, development, and solution engineering at Mastercard since March 2012. In the role of Vice President, Mohamed leads a senior team focused on payment architecture, innovation, and security, while previously holding director positions that included pioneering initiatives in PSD2, 3DS, and decentralized digital identity solutions. Prior to Mastercard, Mohamed managed EMV card migration projects for Masria Digital Payments and co-founded Softhouse, specializing in custom software solutions for tourism. With a solid educational background, including a Master’s degree in Computer Science from AAST and strong academic performance from Middlesex University and Modern Sciences and Arts University, expertise spans across EMV, mobile payments, and secure payment systems.
