Paul Walvik-Joynt

Paul Walvik-Joynt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the payment services industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Real-Time Payments at Mastercard Payment Services in Oslo, Norway, since March 2021, Paul has also held senior leadership positions at Nets Group from May 2015 to March 2021, including Senior Vice President Commercialization - Global Bill Pay and SVP Payments International Sales and Business Development. Prior to that role, Paul was Chief Sales Officer of Payments International and Engagement Director, focusing on Instant Payments and Real Time Solutions. Paul also has experience in organizational behavior and executive management training as Chairman of the Board at Management Data from August 1986 to December 2018. In addition, Paul serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for EACHA, addressing European developments in retail payments. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Oslo and Akershus University College.
