Peter Groarke

Peter Groarke is a seasoned Payments Architect and technologist with over 20 years of experience in the payments industry, holding roles of increasing responsibility. They have expertise in ISO8583, ISO20022, fraud prevention, and possess over 40 issued patents in the payments space since 2012. Peter's career includes significant positions at Mastercard, where they serve as Product Architect for the Payments Network and previously held roles as Director of Software Engineering and Senior Consultant in Enterprise Architecture. They began their professional journey with an internship at The Clorox Company and advanced through various engineering roles, including at Digital Equipment Corporation and Credo-Misys. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Science from University College Dublin.
