Andong Liu (Annie)

Andong (Annie) Liu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andong (Annie) began their career as an Intern in the Personal Loans Department at Bank of China (Fujian), where they assisted with client communication, loan proposal writing, and loan distribution. Andong (Annie) then worked as a Research Assistant at Wellesley College, where they conducted economic research and performed tasks such as data extraction, database construction, and statistical analysis.

Annie later joined the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Market Research Division, as a Research Assistant. In this role, they provided research assistance for economists' projects on financial markets and stability. Andong (Annie) organized and constructed a database on corporate leverage, searched for raw data using Dealogic and Bloomberg, and contributed to regional monetary and financial stability monitoring.

After their time at Wellesley College and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Annie joined CBS Interactive as an Intern in the Business Intelligence & Analytics department. Andong (Annie) then transitioned to the role of Analyst at CBS Interactive, specifically focusing on data, digital analytics, and insights. During their tenure, they leveraged their analytical skills to derive insights and support decision-making.

More recently, Annie has been working at MasterClass, where they have held various positions, starting as a Data Analyst before being promoted to Senior Data Analyst and eventually assuming the role of Principal Data Analyst. At MasterClass, Annie has utilized their expertise to analyze data and provide valuable insights for the company.

Throughout their career, Annie has demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical abilities, as well as proficiency in programming tools such as R and STATA. Andong (Annie) has developed a breadth of experience in data analysis, research assistance, and database management, making their a valuable asset in any data-driven organization.

Andong (Annie) Liu has a Master's Degree in Statistics from Harvard University, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Wellesley College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, in 2014, Annie spent some time as a visiting student at the University of Oxford, specifically at St. Edmund Hall, focusing on Mathematics.
