Melanie Steinbach

Melanie Steinbach has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Melanie is currently the Chief People Officer at MasterClass since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Angel Investor at multiple companies, including Lex, Arrange, and Gabbi, starting in January 2022. Melanie also served as a Board Member at the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas since January 2022. Before that, they were a Limited Partner at LongJump from May 2021. Melanie previously held the position of Chief People Officer at Cameo from November 2020 to July 2022. Melanie also worked at McDonald's, starting as the Vice President, Chief Talent Officer from January 2017 to June 2020, and later as the Senior Vice President, U.S. Chief People Officer from June 2020 to August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Milliken & Company from June 2013 to November 2016. Melanie's previous experience also includes roles as a Consultant in the Retail Practice at Spencer Stuart from June 2012 to May 2013, and as a Managing Director in the Retail Practice and Consumer Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates from October 2004 to June 2012. Melanie began their career as an Associate at Highland Partners from July 1998 to October 2003.

Melanie Steinbach attended Duke University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Political Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in June 2021.
