Erin Turner

Erin Turner is an experienced professional in talent acquisition and education, currently serving as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Mastery Charter Schools since November 2011. In this role, Erin leads the teacher selection team, managing the hiring process for over 300 teachers and support staff annually across 24 schools. A data-driven approach is used to enhance retention strategies and candidate selection, achieving a 24-day average process time with over 80% matriculation. Previous experience includes positions at The New Teacher Project, where Erin contributed as a Fellow and Teacher, and a history of teaching roles in various school districts. Erin holds an M.S. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross, and has completed an Urban Education Semester at Bank Street College of Education.
