Sydney Schatz-Spargo

Sydney Schatz-Spargo is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools since 2014. Prior to this role, Sydney worked as a Third Grade Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2012 to June 2013, where responsibilities included co-teaching and adapting standardized curriculum for diverse student needs. Sydney began working with children as a Senior Counselor at Willow Lake Day Camp from June 2009 to August 2011, leading educational and athletic activities for a group of campers entering first grade. Earlier experience includes a Counselor position at Camp Che-Na-Wah from June 2006 to August 2008. Sydney holds a Master of Education in Multiple and Severe Disabilities from Syracuse University, obtained in 2014, and a Bachelor's degree in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education from the same institution, earned in 2012. Educational background also includes graduating from Montclair Kimberley Academy in 2008.
