Laura García Alarcón

Laura García Alarcón has diverse work experience in the field of engineering and project management in the life science and healthcare industry. Laura currently works as a Life Science & Pharma Project Engineer at MATACHANA since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Ingeniero biomédico at Hospital de Viladecans from November 2021 to June 2022. Laura also has experience as an Ingeniero de mantenimiento electromédico at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona from September 2021 to November 2021.

Laura García Alarcón completed their education in the field of biomedical engineering. Laura obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2017 to 2022. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Data Science from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili from 2022 to 2024. Laura also obtained additional certifications, including an advanced level certificate in English (B2) from the Departament d'Educació in February 2016. Additionally, they earned certifications in Biomedical Research Investigators and Data or Specimens Only Research from the CITI Program in October 2022.
