Sophie Bell

Sophie Bell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and people management. Currently serving as a People Business Partner for Logistics at Matalan since July 2023, Sophie plays a strategic role in aligning people solutions with business objectives. Prior to this, Sophie held various positions at B&M Retail, including HRBP and DC People Business Partner, from February 2021 to July 2023. Sophie's earlier career includes significant roles at the Professional Mediators' Association, Royal Mail as a National Industrial Relations Mediator, and HMP Liverpool as an Independent Monitoring Board Member. With academic qualifications including a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Liverpool John Moores University and a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Criminology from Edge Hill University, Sophie brings a strong foundation to the field of human resources.
