Katherine Candelario

Katherine Candelario is a Clinical Care Coordinator at Essen Health Care, responsible for managing and coordinating the care of over 50 patients. Concurrently, Katherine serves as an Ambassador for MDF Instruments and Match A Resident, assisting international medical graduates in enhancing their opportunities before applying for residency. As a co-founder of TapitasxQuimio, Katherine has led a successful initiative to collect plastic bottle tops to support children with cancer in the Dominican Republic. Katherine also contributes as a Clinical Outcomes Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine and held a Postdoctoral Fellow position with The Global Surgery Foundation. Previous clinical rotations at esteemed institutions such as Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic have provided Katherine with extensive hands-on experience in various surgical units. Katherine's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from O&Med Medical School and a High School Diploma from Cathedral International School.
