Jerry (Charlotte) Klein has a extensive work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. From 1980 to 1995, as President of Klein & LaBrucherie Advertising, they successfully managed advertising and media for Hansen's Beverages and launched the first national advertising campaign for Kinko's Copies. In 1987, they founded The Klein Group, where they served as President, providing marketing strategy and management services for brands such as Corona Beer, Cherokee Apparel, Hawaiian Tropic, Kinko's/FedEx, and Hansen's Beverages. From 1995 to 2001, they worked as VP New Business at Aegis Media, and from 2001 to 2007, as Senior Vice President at Horizon Media. In 2007, they founded The Klein Group: Specializes in Building Entrepreneuril Driven Brands and held the position of President until October 2021. They also served as VP Marketing (The Klein Group) at AquaHydrate from 2007 to 2010.

Jerry (Charlotte) Klein attended the University of Southern California from 1967 to 1971, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Advertising. Additionally, they were a guest speaker on Marketing and Advertising at the Annenberg School of Communications. The specific time period for this guest speaking engagement is unknown.
