Shweta obtained their CPA designation from the California State Board of Accountancy from 2006 to 2008, with a focus on finance and tax. Prior to that, they completed their Chartered Accountancy degree (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in New Delhi, specializing in accounting and taxation, from 1997 to 2001.

Shweta also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ranchi in Jharkhand, which they completed from 1994 to 1997. During their high school years from 1982 to 1992, they attended Sacred Heart School in Jamshedpur, where they gained a solid foundation in subjects such as maths, science, language, and finance.
