Francesco Maria Del Re has a diverse work experience in the field of research and teaching. Francesco Maria began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2015. Francesco Maria then continued their studies at the same university, working as a Graduate Researcher and University Tutor. During their time there, they conducted research on a 5-Fluorouracil resistant colorectal cancer cell model and provided academic and personal support to undergraduate students.
In 2018, Del Re joined Smith College as a Post-Graduate Researcher and Graduate Teaching Fellow, specializing in the field of Bio. Francesco Maria completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnologies at Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2012 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the same university from 2016 to 2018. In 2018-2019, they attended Smith College, where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Studies. Francesco then continued their studies at Smith College and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from 2019 to 2021.
