Wm. Tyler King is an experienced professional in the manufacturing field with a robust academic background and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the University of Minnesota, Wm. Tyler King teaches the popular MM 3001 Manufacturing in a Global Economy course and has played a key role in mentoring students through the MM 4501 Capstone course. Previously, Wm. Tyler King developed and taught various manufacturing courses and significantly contributed to revamping the Manufacturing Technology degree program to meet the needs of the industry. In addition to academic achievements, Wm. Tyler King has held positions such as Manufacturing Manager at Mate Precision Tooling, where achievements include receiving the 2009 Manufacturer of the Year Award. Wm. Tyler King also has experience as Director of Manufacturing at Spantek and Manufacturing Manager at Abbott Laboratories, boasting an educational foundation that includes a BS in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MS in Manufacturing and Operations Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
