Hortense started their career as a Legal Intern at ERGON Avocats in 2013, where they focused on employment law and business law. Hortense then worked at Cabinet BOPS & Avocats as a Business Law intern, specializing in contracts, insurance law, and civil liability. In 2014, they joined Danone as an In-house Legal Counsel, gaining experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, M&A, and food law.

In 2018, Hortense began working at Amazon as an Account Manager, where they focused on acquiring high-potential sellers for the European marketplaces and providing daily support to strategic sellers.

Currently, Hortense is working at Matera as a Sales Manager (Manager de Sales Teamleads), where they lead a team of 10 sales professionals. Matera is a platform that helps property owners manage their projects and daily issues within their communities. Hortense's role involves eliminating the need for a professional syndicate and reducing costs while promoting collaboration among neighbors.
