Jim Steffen

Jim Steffen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Operations Manager for On-Demand Services at Material Bank® since September 2020, Jim previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Mimeo for nearly two decades. As a co-owner and mechanic at Bikesmith in Memphis from January 2014 to August 2018, Jim transformed a startup from a single truck into a thriving business. Jim's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where duties as a Corporal and Squad Leader were performed from June 1991 to June 1999. Jim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Memphis and has also completed a degree in Bicycle Repair & Overhaul from Barnett Bicycle Institute.
