Paul Beswick

Paul Beswick has extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in the development of low carbon construction solutions. Paul is currently working as the Innovation Development Manager at Material Evolution, where they are responsible for developing and scaling up innovative low carbon construction solutions. Prior to this, they worked at Tarmac as the Innovations Manager from 2018 to 2021, and as the Head of New Product Development from 2014 to 2018 at Tarmac Building Products Ltd. Paul also held the position of Head of Technical at Tarmac Building Products from 2007 to 2014, where they were responsible for developing the technical strategy, managing regional technical managers, designing and developing manufactured products, ensuring manufacturing processes met specified parameters, and maintaining quality standards. Paul began their career at Clariant UK in 2001 as a Manufacturing Manager.

Paul Beswick attended Liverpool John Moores University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended Thornleigh College, but no further details about their education at this institution are provided.
