Nicole Rawling

Nicole Rawling is MII’s Chief Executive Officer. She co-founded the organization with Stephanie Downs in 2019.

Nicole provides the strategic direction, leadership, and vision for advancing the next-generation materials industry and ensuring MII’s impact.

Nicole has extensive experience working with animal protection nonprofits in litigation and governance. She worked at an international law firm advising Fortune 500 companies and executives in internal investigations and securities issues. In her previous role as Director of International Engagement at the Good Food Institute, she worked with companies, entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, and government officials worldwide to promote the development of alternatives to animal products.

Nicole has a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown School of Foreign Service and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
