Jurgen Roekens

Jurgen Roekens has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jurgen started their career as a Development Engineer at Bosch in 1996 and worked there until 1998. Jurgen then joined Verhaert as a Project Manager for Customized Systems from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they worked at The Coca-Cola Company, where they held various roles such as Equipment Innovator from 2001 to 2007, Equipment Development Manager from 2007 to 2012, Principal Engineer in Global R&D from 2012 to 2016, and R&D Director from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Jurgen started working as a Freelance Innovation Consultant and Project Manager at Quidni BVBA until 2019. Currently, they are employed at Materialise, where they hold the position of Design & Engineering and New Business Director since September 2019.

Jurgen Roekens obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Antwerp, which they completed between 1990 and 1995.
