Wim Claassen

Wim Claassen has extensive experience in the field of orthopaedics, currently serving as a Global Account Manager for strategic partnerships at Materialise since April 2008. Previous roles at Materialise include Portfolio Manager for joint replacement guides, Product Manager for knee orthopaedics, and Operational Brand Manager, along with experience as a Product Development Engineer and multiple engineering positions focusing on orthopaedics. Claassen's work emphasizes the development of innovative medical instrumentation utilizing rapid prototyping technology and compliance with FDA and EU regulations. Prior to Materialise, Claassen managed operations and development at Advanced Custom Made Implants, overseeing the production of customized hip implants. Educational background includes studies at KU Leuven and Centrum voor Levende Talen from 1995 to 2011.
