Hemant Kumar

Hemant Kumar is a recognized professional in the field of materials science, currently serving as a Graduate Student Award Recipient at the Materials Research Society since August 2020. Hemant acquired a Master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, where previous experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant from July 2016 to January 2020. Additional experience includes a position as a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR India from June 2014 to July 2016, and a researcher role at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, focusing on the development of Carbon Fiber G-939 Composites. Hemant also completed an internship as an Inplant Trainee at Steel Authority of India Limited, gaining hands-on experience in steel manufacturing. Education was initially grounded in science at D.A.V. Public School in India.
