Melissa Fashinpaur

Melissa Fashinpaur has over twenty years of IT audit and business risk advisory experience. Melissa started their career at EY in 2001 as a Principal - Consulting, where they led the Northeast Ohio Technology Risk Practice and focused on serving external audits and risk management engagements. Melissa also assisted clients in their Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, regulatory compliance, cyber risk management initiatives, and managing business transformations. In 2022, Melissa joined Materion Corporation as the Vice President of Internal Audit, and later became the Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance in 2023.

Melissa Fashinpaur attended Miami University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems and Finance. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
