Solomon Alkhasov

Solomon Alkhasov currently serves as Vice President of Strategy at Materion Corporation, focusing on transforming a $1 billion specialty metals business through M&A and operational enhancements. As a Partner at Random Holdings since 2011, Solomon invests in private ventures with exceptional management. Previous roles include Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where Solomon led large-scale transformations, and General Manager at SparkBeyond, where an analytics platform was developed for various industries. Early career experiences include managing mechanical design and engineering roles at COTSWORKS, INC. and GE, as well as serving as a commercialization consultant at Case Western Reserve University, where Solomon earned both an MS in Physics and a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
