Aimée Fernandez, CPDT, is a skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer with extensive experience in designing systems for various building types, including K-12 schools, commercial properties, and residential complexes. Currently employed at Matern Professional Engineering since June 2020, Aimée is responsible for designing plumbing and fire protection systems and conducting field investigation assessments. Previously, Aimée worked at Salas O'Brien from December 2016 to June 2020, where duties included preparing construction documents and performing calculations for plumbing and natural gas systems. Earlier experience with Cuhaci & Peterson Architects involved completing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs for retail and prototypical buildings while conducting field investigations. Aimée holds an Associate's degree in Engineering from Valencia College and a degree from the University of Central Florida.
