Nojan Nowakhtar is a seasoned professional in the field of controls engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of Controls Division and Senior Controls Engineer at Matern Professional Engineering since February 2018. With prior experience at Trane from July 2009 to February 2018 as both a Controls Project Developer and Project Engineer, Nojan was responsible for the comprehensive development and engineering of building automation projects, including cost estimation and proposal development. Earlier in the career at Johnson Controls as a Project Engineer, responsibilities included managing HVAC projects and establishing business relationships. Nojan began the professional journey at Holler-Classic Automotive Group as a Product Specialist and Sales Consultant. Nojan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
