Laurie Waskovich, MS, RD, LDN, CLC, is a seasoned nutrition professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Nutrition Education Coordinator at MFHS since April 2004, Waskovich supports WIC Nutritionists to enhance the health of women and families through nutrition education. In addition to this role, Waskovich has maintained a private nutrition practice as the Sole Proprietor of Well Kitchen since January 2003 and has previously worked as a Consultant Dietitian and Clinical Dietitian. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Renal Dietitian at Fresenius Medical Care and as a Nutritionist IV for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. Waskovich holds a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Marywood College and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University.
