Previously, Tamar held the position of Assistant Professor of Reproductive and Medical Genetics, Fetal Medicine, and Ultrasound at Montefiore Health System from July 2006 to November 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where Tamar completed studies from 2006 to 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Barnard College, attained from 1998 to 2002.
