Dan Irish

Dan Irish has extensive experience in technical talent acquisition. Dan started their career as a Technical Recruiter at Berico Technologies in 2010 and eventually became the Recruiting Manager in 2014. In 2015, they joined Xcelerate Solutions as the Lead Technical Recruiter, where they successfully hired and built candidate pipelines for a government contractor. In 2018, they joined Mathematica as a Recruiting Manager and later became the Technical Talent Acquisition Manager II in 2020. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director, Technical Talent Acquisition at Mathematica. In this role, they lead full lifecycle technical recruiting for a professional services company, overseeing a team of recruiters and a coordinator. Dan has made significant contributions in saving the company $650k by avoiding agency fees and has successfully hired key positions in various technical fields. Dan Irish is recognized for their expertise in developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies and improving sourcing and accountability processes. Dan is also experienced in cultivating diverse candidate pools and ensuring consistent technical and virtual interview processes.
