Jean Knab is an experienced Principal Researcher and Project Director with over 20 years in research and evaluation. They have directed more than $30 million in large, complex federal contracts and are recognized for their strong leadership in providing growth opportunities and mentoring to staff. Jean's expertise spans various evaluation methods, with a significant focus on adolescent sexual and reproductive health, as well as other areas such as healthy marriage education and child welfare. Prior to their role at Mathematica, Jean served as the Study Director for the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study at Princeton University and began their career at MDRC. They hold a Ph.D. in sociology from Princeton University and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology at Cornell University.
