Avgoustinos Vouros

Avgoustinos Vouros is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in GPU and Deep Learning at MathWorks since February 2021, with prior experience as a Software Engineer in the same field. At the University of Sheffield, Avgoustinos served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from February 2017 to August 2020, focusing on Adaptive Intelligence and Modelling and Simulation of Natural Systems, while also participating in research as a Software Engineer. As a founding member of the ROdent Data Analytics organization, responsibilities included software testing and project management. Avgoustinos holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Behavioural Neuroscience from the University of Sheffield, complemented by a Master’s in Computational Intelligence and Robotics and a Bachelor’s in Computer Systems Engineering.
