Emmanuel Blanchard

Emmanuel Blanchard is a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks since September 2014, specializing in developing proof of concepts for customers using MATLAB and Simulink across various industries and delivering technical presentations and workshops. Previously, Emmanuel served as a Senior Training Engineer at MathWorks, where popular courses on machine learning and data processing were taught, consistently achieving high customer satisfaction ratings. Prior experience includes a role as a Lecturer in Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Wollongong, a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech focused on applied numerical methods, a Systems/Controls Engineer at Cummins Engine Company, and internships involving sonar signal processing at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and research on piezoceramic devices for NASA. Emmanuel holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, both from Virginia Tech.
