Hrishikesh Bhagwat

Hrishikesh Bhagwat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering management and software development. As a Senior Engineering Manager at MathWorks since September 2016, Hrishikesh leads development teams for code generation products, specifically MATLAB Coder. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at Synopsys as a Senior Team Lead and Principal Software Engineer, focusing on R&D in clock tree synthesis and optimization for IC Compiler. Additional expertise was gained at SoftJin Technologies as a Project Leader, where Hrishikesh worked on EDA software development for 3D ASICs, including innovative projects such as TSV placement engines and timing-driven placement. Hrishikesh's career began with an internship at Pace Soft Silicon, where cryptographic algorithm research was conducted. Educational qualifications include an M.Tech. in VLSI and Embedded Systems from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad and a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
