Louvere Walker-Hannon has an extensive work experience. They started their career at MathWorks in 2000 as an Application Support Engineer, providing technical support and troubleshooting code and models. They then worked as a Training Engineer, providing technical training and creating technical content. They later transitioned to the role of an Application Engineer, where they used their technical knowledge to assist customers with workflow design and provide recommendations on technical solutions. They then became a Senior Application Engineer and an Application Engineering Team Lead, where they continued to assist customers and provide feedback to various departments. In 2022, they became an Application Engineering Senior Team Lead, managing a team of Application Engineers and creating an environment for their success. Aside from their work at MathWorks, they also worked at the Boston Museum of Science as a Program Presenter and Saturday Program Presenter, enhancing visitor experiences and managing operations.
Louvere Walker-Hannon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University between 1996 and 2000. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Remote Sensing followed by a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Geographic Information Technology, both at Northeastern University. Additionally, Louvere received a certification as a Black Girls CODE Curriculum Committee Member in December 2021.
