Roberto G. Valenti is a Principal Robotics Research Scientist in the Advanced Research & Technology Office at MathWorks. Passionate about robotics and science, Roberto's research focuses on autonomous navigation, micro aerial vehicles, state estimation, sensor fusion, and deep learning. They have held positions as a Research Assistant and Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York, where they worked extensively on MAV navigation systems, and have also contributed to autonomous UAV projects during internships at Baidu USA and New York University. Roberto holds a PhD in Robotics from City University of New York and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering at the University of Catania.
