Laura Damkoehler

Laura Damkoehler has over 16 years of experience in various roles within the technology and product management field. Most recently, they served as the Director of Product at Matic, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product Design at NOBLR from July 2018 to December 2020. Laura also held the position of Director of Product Design at BusinessBlocks from July 2017 to July 2018.

Before these roles, Laura worked at Esurance from 2011 to 2016, where they held multiple positions including Sr. Manager, Product Management, Lead Product Manager, and Product Manager. Their responsibilities included managing teams, defining strategies, developing roadmaps, and delivering online experiences to drive sales and revenue across various product lines.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product Manager at eHealthInsurance, where they led mobile initiatives and designed and implemented a new mobile app platform. Prior to that, they were a Sr. UI/UX Designer at Esurance Inc, where they managed UI initiatives and led usability studies. Laura also has experience in user experience design and technical writing, having worked at ELM Resources and Deloitte Consulting in the past.

Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated expertise in product management, product design, UI/UX, and strategy development.

Laura Damkoehler received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Davis, from 1997 to 2001. Laura then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Religion & Society from the Graduate Theological Union, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.
