Charlee Norton

Charlee Norton has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. In 2017, Charlee joined Direct Line Group as a Digital Resourcing Partner, responsible for hiring exceptional talent for the growing Digital Department. From 2018 to 2019, Charlee transitioned to the role of Digital Scrum Master, embedding agile principles into the team and driving efficiency in web page changes and new product launches. In 2019, Charlee became a Data Insight Product Manager, overseeing the strategic delivery of projects involving end-to-end data journeys and building QlikSense dashboards for actionable insights in Claims Analytics. Charlee's work at Direct Line Group focused on optimizing reporting methods and achieving cost savings. In 2021, Charlee joined HX as a Product Owner within the Apps tribe, contributing to the development of xTrade, a platform facilitating faster distribution for insurers, re-insurers, corporates, and brokers. Finally, in 2022, Charlee joined Matillion as a Senior Product Owner, leading the delivery and ownership of the Custom Connector SaaS vision, providing users with a no-code solution to extract and load data from Rest API sources into cloud data platforms. Charlee's most recent role at Matillion is as a Product Manager for Matillion Data Loader, aimed at organizations in need of simplified access to insights and analytics from various data sources.

Charlee Norton attended Lewis Girls Comprehensive School from 2006 to 2013, where they completed their A Level. Charlee then pursued their higher education at Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2017 and obtained a degree in International Hospitality and Event Management. Their field of study included hospitality, events, finance, marketing, and HR. In addition to their academic qualifications, Charlee also received additional certifications. In February 2015, they obtained a certification in Food Safety, though the institution providing this certification is not specified. More recently, in March 2022, Charlee obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org.
