Sarah Muto

Sarah Muto has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Sarah'smost recent position was as the VP Controller Americas at Mativ, where they provided overall leadership for financial accounting and reporting in the corporate and Americas region. Prior to this, they worked as the Accounting Lead - Neenah Division at Mativ, where they led the Neenah accounting division and worked on the merger of equals.

Before joining Mativ, Sarah worked at Neenah, where they held several roles including Assistant Controller and Senior Manager of Global Consolidations. Sarah was responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financials, managing the global consolidation process, and maintaining internal controls. Prior to Neenah, Sarah worked at FiberMark (now Neenah Paper Inc.) as the Manager of Treasury and Financial Reporting, Financial Reporting Supervisor, and Senior Corporate Accountant. Sarah'sresponsibilities included financial analysis, preparing financial statements, managing month-end closing procedures, and updating system reports.

Sarah also has experience working at Cheetah Learning as an Accounting Manager, where they implemented a new accounting system and managed monthly closing procedures. Sarah began their career at Retail Brand Alliance as a Staff Accountant, where they gained experience in taxes, inventory management, and financial reporting. Throughout their career, Sarah has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in financial accounting and reporting.

Sarah Muto earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western New England University, spanning from 1999 to 2003.
