Karen Carberry, PMP

Karen Carberry, PMP, has over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Karen began their career in 2004 as a CRA/Clinical Study Manager at ICOS. In 2007, they moved to Genentech, where they held the role of Clinical Trial Manager/Global Study Manager. In 2011, they joined Onyx Pharmaceuticals as a Sr Program Manager. Karen then moved to Acerta Pharmaceutical in 2016 as an Associate Director Project Management. In 2021, they joined AstraZeneca as an Associate Director, Global Project Management and later that year, they were promoted to Sr Director, Project Management at MatriSys Bioscience, Inc.

Karen Carberry obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1978. In April 2016, they were awarded the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
