Steven Mifsud Mbe

Steven Mifsud MBE is an experienced accessibility consultant currently serving as the Director of Accessibility (Consultant) at Matrix Design Group, Inc. since November 2025. With a long-standing career since June 2004 as Chair of the Direct Access Board and CEO of Global Operations at Direct Access Group, Steven has also held significant roles, including Accessibility Consultant for Avanti West Coast and Director of Accessibility for Expo 2020 Dubai. Steven's expertise extends to being a Jury Member for the IAKS Architecture Awards representing the International Paralympic Committee and previously acting as Project Director for Universal Design at Dubai Expo 2020. Educational achievements include a BA (HONS) in Architecture from the University of Brighton and an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the same institution awarded in 2025.
