Marcus Secato

Marcus Secato is an experienced software engineering manager with a proven track record in technology leadership and team restructuring. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at Matrix Energia since July 2023, Marcus previously held the same position at CashMe from May 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering, architecture, cloud, and DevOps areas while managing over 30 team members. Key achievements include implementing software development best practices, fostering a FinOps culture to reduce cloud costs significantly, and enhancing CI/CD processes through GitOps. Prior to CashMe, Marcus worked at Daitan Group for nearly 15 years, holding roles as Systems Architect, Tech Lead, and Software Developer, where projects involved developing plugins and recommendation systems using advanced programming models. Marcus holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed in 2005.
