Jed Johnson

Jed Johnson's work experience includes being the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Nanofiber Solutions since July 2010, Co-Founder and CTO at Matrix Food Technologies, Inc. since October 2019, Co-Founder and CTO at Atreon Orthopedics since August 2017, and Co-Founder and CTO at Phoenix Wound Matrix by RenovoDerm since August 2017. Jed also served as the Treasurer Board of Directors at Ohio Climbers Coalition since January 2017 and as a Board Member at Solid Rock Climbers For Christ since November 2014. Prior to their entrepreneurial roles, Jed was a Research Fellow at The Ohio State University where they worked on tissue engineering applications from September 2000 to July 2010. Jed also had intern roles as a Product Engineer Intern at Exactech in June 2004 and as a Cylinders Engineer Intern at Worthington Industries from January 2003 to September 2003. At Worthington Industries, Jed evaluated and optimized incoming steel compositions for pressure cylinder production, reducing gauge thickness and providing cost savings to the company.

Jed Johnson's education history shows a strong focus in the field of Materials Science. From 2000 to 2010, they attended The Ohio State University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, a Master of Science (MS) degree, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, all in Materials Science.

In addition to their formal education, Jed also pursued further learning opportunities and obtained certifications. In 2013, they completed two courses, "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part II" and "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I," offered by Coursera. These courses provided him with additional knowledge and skills in business growth strategies.
