David Perkins

David Perkins has worked in various roles within the healthcare field. David started as a Clinical Services Supervisor at the VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN in 2001, where they managed a team of social workers providing services to the HIV community. In 2008, they were promoted to Program Manager, overseeing the expansion of community health services and finding a new home for the Ryan White Foundation program after it lost its previous location. In 2012, they joined Matrix Human Services as Vice President of Community Health, where they played a key role in assimilating the Ryan White Foundation program and ensuring its continuation. Additionally, from 2001 to 2018, David also worked as a part-time therapist at Macomb County Community Mental Health, assessing clients and determining their eligibility for various mental health programs.

David Perkins has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University, which they obtained in 1986.
