Xin Ge

Xin Ge currently serves as an Executive in Residence for Fintech and Risk at Matrix since April 2023 and holds advisory roles at Fuse Technologies, Flex, and Oscilar Inc. Previous positions include Chief Technology and Risk Officer and Global Chief Risk and Analytics Officer at Afterpay, Head of Risk Management at Uber, and various leadership roles at PayPal, where responsibilities included managing seller risk across global regions and building the Shanghai Risk Center. Early career experience includes risk analytics roles at eBay and Demandtec. Xin Ge earned a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
