Caro Chapatte

Caro Chapatte has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry and business development. Caro currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Matrix Renewables, a renewable energy platform. Caro is also a Board Member and previously served as the Chief of Staff at the same company. Prior to this, Caro was the Chief Business Development Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee at Nice Tech, a foodtech start-up. Caro also briefly served as the Interim COO at Nice Tech. Caro has experience in renewable energy project development, construction, and operation, as they were a Board Member and Managing Director at ALARDE SOCIEDAD DE ENERGIA (now SMARTENER). Additionally, they worked as a Senior Strategy & Management Consultant at International Venture Consultants. Caro has also held positions at Orion Renewable Energy Group LLC, ACCIONA, and KENETECH INTERNATIONAL, LTD. as Director of Business Development Latin America, Manager of Wind Energy Projects, and Project Manager of Wind Energy respectively.

Caro Chapatte earned an MBA in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, Caro completed a BA in Business Administration at EBS Paris - European Business School. Caro also studied International Business/Trade/Commerce at the University of California, Berkeley.
